There is zero rubber within the leash. The website describes this leash as: “ The special combination of rubber and Textile ensures incredible strength and optimal grip when using the leash”. The light/white colour through the middle of the leash is just fabric and not rubber as I was led to believe based on their other leashes and the description from the website. I’ll just leave them in my car as backup. They don’t seem very sturdy for every day use. #disappointed
